Zensday - A Wednesday with a little something extra!

A couple years ago I started sharing a photo with a friend every Wednesday. We called it Zensday because many of the images provided a brief midweek escape from... well, whatever you needed to momentarily escape from. Word got around and before long, the email list swelled. That proved problematic during recent travels.

And so, a blog is born. One topic: Zensday

Enjoy!

Lone Buffalo in Yellowstone

Much of Yellowstone's wildlife avoids the geyser basin area of the park. The ground can look stable and yet be a crunchy, fragile crust covering a flow of super-heated water. The exception to the rule is the American Bison. Mr. Bison doesn't seem to care. Small groups and single bison have been roaming this area since prehistoric times, though by 1902 poachers reduced the Yellowstone herd to about two dozen in number.
